Additionally, he is the President of OMTC Physio Pakistan and has embarked on a journey to attain over 30 international certifications and attend numerous conferences. Mr. M. Tausif, Specialist Musculoskeletal Podiatrist, possesses comprehensive training in Podiatric Medicine and Clinical Biomechanics. Holding a BSc (Hons) from the University of Huddersfield and an MSc in Clinical Biomechanics, his professional expertise extends across the NHS and private sectors, with a focus on biomechanical injuries and rheumatoid arthritis. Mr. Abid is a highly experienced consultant podiatrist with 30 years of expertise, particularly in podiatric sports medicine. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry from the University of Westminster and advanced qualifications, including a PGCert and MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine.
As an extended scope podiatrist, Abid specializes in ultrasound-guided injections and minor skin surgeries. He co-founded the International Podiatric Medical Association to combat diabetic-related amputations in developing countries through public awareness, healthcare professional training, and foot health screenings.
Abid's academic achievements include leading research on sports-related concussion and working towards a PhD at Loughborough University, to be completed in 2026. He played a key role as the lead sports podiatrist at the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games and holds esteemed positions, such as a Fellow of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, and Vice-Chair of the Royal College of Podiatry Specialist Advisory Group for Podiatric Sports Medicine.
